Pacman Google

Pacman Google or Google Pac-Man is an interactive logo created by Google and Namco. Pacman Google was created to honor the 30th anniversary of the release of Pac-Man on May 21, 2010. The original Pac-Man game was developed by Namco and was first released on May, 22, 1980 in Japan. The original Pac-Man game was created by Tōru Iwatani, who was a young employee in Namco at the time. He began working on the game on April 1979. The game was originally named “Puck Man”. The name was changed to “Pac-Man” when Midway decided to release the game in the United States. The original Pac-Man game became an icon of popular culture in the 1980s and is now considered one of the best classic games of all time. It generated more than $2.5 billion in sales by the 1990s. The original Pac-Man game is still immensely popular today. Google Pac-Man looks, sounds, and plays the same as the original Pac-Man. The only difference in Google Pac-Man is that the maze is the Google logo. The game is controlled using the arrow keys on your keyboard or using the mouse. In Pacman Google, you control Pac-Man through a Google maze, eating small yellow dots called “pac-dots”. Each pac-dot adds 10 points to your score. If you manage to eat all the pac-dots, you get to play the next stage. Between some stages, an intermission animation plays. There are three intermission animations in all. There are four enemies that roam the maze and try to catch Pac-Man. Enemies in Pacman Google known as “ghosts” or “monsters”. The enemies are nicknamed Pinky, Blinky, Clyde and Inky. If one of them touches Pac-Man, one of Pac-Man’s lives is lost. When all the lives are lost, the game is over. You get a bonus life when you reach 10,000 points. On the corners of the maze and on the “G” on the Google logo are larger yellow dots called “power pellets”. Eating a power pellet gives Pac-Man the ability to eat the enemies. When you eat a power pellet, the enemies turn blue and reverse direction to get away from Pac-Man. If you manage to eat an enemy, its eyes return to the center of the Google logo and regenerates into a normal enemy. Blue enemies will flash white to warn you that they are about to become normal enemies again. In the later stages, the enemies don’t turn blue at all, but will still reverse direction when you eat a power pellet. Pacman Google was removed on May 23, 2010 and was replaced with the normal Google logo. However, due to popular demand, Google released a permanent Pacman Google website that allows people to play the game whenever they want.

Pacman Google is the classic Pac-Man game that we all know and love. It plays and sounds exactly like the original Pac-Man game. And like the original game, Pacman Google is very addictive. If you haven’t played the original Pac-Man game, then give Pacman Google a try. It is fun, it is addictive and it is free!
